The Dutch Federation approached Conte for the Netherlands job

According to reports in Italy, the Dutch Federation talked with Antonio Conte to check if would be the Netherlands manager, but he likes to receive an offer for a club role.

The former Nerazzurri boss agreed not to sign a contract with a Serie A side for the next campaign.

As per reports from Italian sports presenter Maurizio Pistocchi, Conte has also received an offer from the Dutch Football Federation, who aimed to convince him to take the

Netherlands

job after they failed at Euro 2020.

Franck de Boer was sacked after they were eliminated in the Round of 16 following their 2-0 loss at the hands of the Czech Republic, but he had only moved to the club in 2020.

Conte, however, is aiming for a club role, despite having experience as an international coach, leading Italy to the quarter-finals of the Euro 2016.
