Leandro Paredes’ dream of teaming-up with Messi at PSG has faded.
Rumors regarding
Lionel Messi’s desire to leave Barcelona ended last week, with the Catalan club announcing that they have reached an agreement with the 34-year-old superstar for a 5-year contract extension.
Messi had been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, however, his agreement with Barca put an end to all the rumors and speculations.
PSG Argentine midfielder
Leandro Paredes, who recently won Copa América alongside Messi, has spoken to
ESPNabout how he hoped to team-up with the talented superstar at the Parc des Princes.
He said:
“There was a lot of talk at the club when it emerged that Leo could come to Paris.
"It was a dream to imagine he could be with us next season.
"But hey, that didn't happen. I hope he likes where he plays."
