Three Premier League clubs monitoring Barca’s Braithwaite

With the addition of Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay to Barcelona’s front line, Martin Braithwaite could see his playtime further reduced having only started 11 La Liga outings last season.

Considering the Denmark international’s performance at Euro 2020, it would be the perfect time for Barca to sell, especially given the club’s financial situation and uncertainty of the 30-year-old’s future at Nou Camp.

According to

Sport

,

Braithwaite

is ‘destined for the Premier League’ as Brighton, West Ham, and Wolves reportedly considering the Danish forward’s signature.

With the £50million sale of Ben White to Arsenal, the Seagulls are considering the former Middlesbrough as a potential summer addition as they have been previously linked to Getafe’s Marc Cucurella.

However, with Wolves and West Ham also in the race for Braithwaite’s signature, Braithwaite’s preferred option is not Brighton. The Danish forward will reportedly cost around €15million this summer.

Joining Barcelona from CD Leganes in a deal worth €18 million, Braithwaite has four years remaining on his current deal with Barcelona.

Barcelona

are hoping to conclude a deal for Braithwaite in the next seven days as they look to ease the burden on the wage bill.
