Spanish FA launches social media campaign for UK-based La Roja fans

Spain fans are encouraged to support the team in their semi-final clash against Italy.

in their Euro 2020 semi-final clash on Tuesday. La Roja played their group-stage games on home soil, but they have traveled to Copenhagen and Saint Petersburg for their first two knockout matches.

Luis Enrique

’s side will face Italy at Wembley and they are encouraging their UK-based fans to support the team.

The Spanish FA posted a cheeky Twitter post on their official

account

on Monday, saying:

“‘if Pae-La is your favourite food, it’s time to say thanks. We need You!”

Enrique echoed the message by calling on Spain fans to support the team by buying a ticket for the upcoming match.

Spain reached the semi-finals by beating Switzerland on Friday. La Roja are hoping to reach the final of a major tournament for the first time in nine years.
