Milan consider Kessie, Ziyech and Ceballos after Calhanoglu's leave

The Rossoneri are negotiating with Franck Kessie over a contract extension and plan to replace Hakan Calhanoglu with Hakim Ziyech or Dani Ceballos.

Milan

do not want to risk losing

Franck Kessie

on a free transfer next season.

Gigio Donnarumma

and

Hakan Calhanoglu

have departed the club for nothing and since the 24-year-old’s contract will reach its end in a year, the Diavoli are trying to convince him to sign a new contract.

As per reports from

La Gazzetta dello Sport

, however, Milan made an offer of €4m a year, but Kessie asked for more than €5m per year.

Milan have to find a replacement for the Turkey international, who is doing his medicals with Inter now.

The Rossoneri are keen on acquiring Chelsea’s

Ziyech

but the Blues have paid €40m for the midfielder in 2020 and do not plan to sell him cheap after only one season.

The Morocco international’s €6m-a-year salary is also a problem for the Serie A giants, who are considering signing the ex-Ajax man on a loan deal that includes an option to buy.

Ziyech’s alternative for Milan is Real Madrid’s

Dani Ceballos

. The two clubs are on good terms and they are talking about Brahim Diaz’s return to San Siro on a similar deal.
