Netherlands defender Matthijs de Ligt will play against Austria
Matthijs de Ligt has returned to training and is expected to start the game for the Netherlands against Austria in the second round of Euro 2020 on Thursday night.

has been suffering from a groin injury in recent weeks, according to
Football Italia.
However, he has returned to training with the
Netherlandsand will be available for their game against
Austria.
Netherlands have opened their Group C campaign with a 3-2 victory over Ukraine at Johan Cruijff Arena on Sunday and now are going to face Austria on Thursday night for the second round of
Euro 2020.
Holland CT Frank de Boer has confirmed that De Ligt is going to play from the first minute on Thursday night.
“Tomorrow he will start,” De Boer said at a press conference on Wednesday. “He has taken part in everything. He’s ready!”
De Ligt, capped 27 times, is going to participate in his first major tournament with the national team.
He made his first debut with the senior team at 17 which was when Danny Blind was the Netherlands CT. Since then he has been able to score twice in the Holland shirt.
