Lewandowski sets the record for most goals in a bundesliga season

, who scored 40 goals in the 1971-72 campaign. Having scored 47 goals in 39 matches for Bayern across all competitions, Lewandowski has enjoyed incredible form this season. The player celebrated his ninth Bundesliga title with the Bavarian giants as they defeated Augsburg with a 5-2 result on Saturday.

Leroy Sane’s shot from outside the box. Lewandowski celebrated the 277th Bundesliga goal of his career as Bayern bade farewell to David Alaba, Javi Martinez, Jerome Boateng, and Hansi Flick.
