To give an idea of Italian football, reflect on the fact that Marco Verratti was brought to Paris Saint-Germain without going through Serie A,”

he said, according to

FCInterNews

.

“He was at Pescara with Lorenzo Insigne and both were already at another level.

“I wanted Verratti at Inter, Massimo Moratti tried, but everyone was afraid to bet on him, nobody believed in him.”
