Nagelsmann had to convince Adams to stay at Leipzig
The young German manager says that the development of Tyler Adams has been outstanding.
Julian Nagelsmann, the young German coach of
RB Leipzighas revealed that
Tyler Adams, the young American midfielder of the club had doubts about his future in Germany. Nagelsmann claims that Adams was questioning whether staying at Leipzig is the right decision for the future of his career or not.
"In the summer he was dissatisfied,"
the RB Leipzig boss said, according to
RBLive.<em>
"He was wondering whether it would be better for him elsewhere. I was able to persuade him to stay,"He added: "We got together more, also when it comes to the way I think about football."
Adams has made 32 appearances for the club so far as he already played 61 with the Leipzig’s shirt. Nagelsmann says that the player can become more of a threat with his deep-lying role.
"It's been extraordinary for Tyler in the last 10 or 12 weeks,"
he said.
"That's reflected in his playing time...His development this year has been outstanding."
