European giants to compete for Lucas Vazquez

The Spanish star will be a free agent in the summer.

Chelsea and Manchester United are set to compete for the signing of

Real Madrid

midfielder Lucas Vazquez, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

According to

ABC

, the Spanish winger has rejected Real's recent offer and therefore, many clubs in Europe want to hire him. Real offered him a three-year contract, his salary was reduced by 10% compared to before and he is now on the verge of leaving the club.

Chelsea, Manchester United, AC Milan and Bayern Munich are all ready to offer a four-year contract with a higher salary than what Vazquez currently receives at Real.

He has the ability to play in all positions on the right side of the field and this season, Zidane has used him many times in defense and midfield.

He has played more than 200 games for Real Madrid in the last 6 years and is one of Zinedine Zidane's favorite players. It remains to be seen what the competition of the big clubs will be for the Spanish star.
