Hauge: I’m very happy at Milan

The Rossoneri winger scored the equalizer for Milan in their draw against Sampdoria.

’s red card just before the hour mark boosted Milan’s hopes for a potential comeback.

Jens Petter Hauge

scored the late equalizer for the Rossoneri in the 87th minute and helped his team secure a vital point from the match. In a post-match interview, the Norwegian winger has spoken about his crucial goal.

“I’m happy for the goal, a great goal,”

Hauge told

MilanTV

.

“We didn’t win and therefore it’s difficult to be fully satisfied.

“But one point is better than zero. We have to keep working and improving.”

Having collected 60 points from their 29 matches, Milan sit second in Serie A behind Antonio Conte’s

Inter

.

“We still have nine games and 27 points to fight for,”

Hauge continued.

“We have to work hard and think of one game at a time, the target is clear.”

Asked about his current situation at the Italian club, Hauge responded:

“It’s going well, I’m trying to improve every day, I’m continuing to learn the language. I’m very happy here,”

he said.

“Now, we must finish at the same level we started the season.”

Milan will play their next Serie A match against

Parma

on April 10.
