Chelseahave been keeping an eye on
Roma’s
Gianluca Mancini, after the defender already managed to get the attention of
Evertonin the past.
Before signing a permanent deal with the
Serie Aside, the 24-year-old joined Roma on a loan coming from
Atalanta.
Mancini currently has five goals scored in his 27 appearances this season, and if he decides to leave the Italian club, he is expected to depart for an amount of £30 million.
Since his arrival at Stadio Olimpico, the
Italyinternational has proved to be a major presence in Paulo Fonesca’s squad and considering that Roma are determined on a top-four finish in the league table, letting go of Mancini would not be easy task for I Giallarossi.
After scoring his latest goal in their Thursday 3-0 win against
Shakhtar Donetsk, Mancini spoke of his development in the recent while, telling
Sky Sport Italia

“I have to improve on so many areas, such as not getting so many yellow cards and reading the game better. I do feel that I have become a better defender over the last year, also because I am accumulating experience.”
