Ayub Timbe joins Vissel Kobe
The Harambee Stars forward has completed a transfer to the Japanese club on Sunday.
The 28-year-old winger has been without a club since October when he left the Chinese club
Beijing Renhe. Timbe has expressed his excitement about the transfer on social media.
"New beginning. New Mindset. New Focus. New Start. New intentions. New results,"
Timbe said on a
Facebook post.

is the second high-profile Kenyan forward to join a J1 League club. He is following the footsteps of
Michael Olungawho joined
Kashiwa Reysolin 2018 and managed to win the league’s Golden Boot two years later.
"First of all, I want to thank the club for the trust to allow me to join them. It is a great feeling to be part of the Kobe family and I cannot wait to get started. See you soon,"
the forward said in
a video posted by the club.
