Ibisevic reveals why his Schalke contract was terminated
Former Schalke 04 striker Vedad Ibisevic has revealed why his contract with the club was terminated.
signed the striker on a one-year deal last summer, but the 36-year-old’s contract was terminated after he was suspended.
In an interview with Sport Bild, the striker has his own account of the story, and he doesn't have much good to say about the coach Manuel Baum, who suspended him.
"I didn't have a problem with him. He had a problem with me. He asked me several times to give my opinion on the team or the difficult sporting situation. That's what I was signed for, above all – to help the club with my experience,"

"Obviously, he had a different opinion. After that, he asked [Schalke head of sport] Jochen Schneider to suspend me."
