Morris picks an injury in less than one month since joining Swansea

Morris's opportunity to be signed by Swansea after the one-season long loan is destroye as the Swansea manager confirms his injury.

confirmed that

Jordan Morris

's ACL injury picked in the club's match against

Huddersfield

will keep him out of the pitch for the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old winger was signed to be on a loan at Swansea for a season-long less than one month ago from the

Seattle Sounders

and has made only four appearances for the clubs, all as a substitute.

Cooper, declaring that the damage is

"cruel"

and it marks

"the end of the season"

for the American winger.

Cooper knows that this injury will affect Morris's career life but confirms the club's full support of him:

“He has our support of course. The next steps with his recovery, I'm not quite sure in terms of whether it will be here or back in the U.S. – those conversations are ongoing - but, first and foremost, we are gutted for him."

"It's obviously a blow for us because he was just about getting up to speed and pushing to get into the team. We gave him a spell of getting fit, so it is really unfortunate in many ways."

The manager has become aware of the on-loan's ability and profession in the very short time he has performed for the club. He said:

"I'm sure he'll come back strong."

He registered 10 goals and 8 assists for his club before joining Swansea.

The sounders also offered their full support of Morris and are ready to welcome him home. He is now supposed to undergo surgery. This is the second time he picks such an injury.

Morris has been waiting for a move to Europe but this accident has ruined his chance since Swansea have been fascinated by the 26-year-old and would have liked to sign him.
