Jordan Morris' injury worse than expected, says Cooper

The player was injured after landing badly in the second half against Huddersfield.

Swansea

suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat against

Huddersfield

as Morris who came on as a substitute at the half-time, forced to leave the match after an injury caused by an awkward landing.

Steve Cooper, the head coach of Swansea City says that the knee injury of the American player doesn’t look good and he will be facing a long spell on the sidelines.

“It does not look good, does it? I don’t know the extent of it but we have our fingers crossed for him,”

Cooper said.

“We will know more in the days to come, but it did not look a good one, that’s for sure.

“He will travel back with us, he is currently in a knee brace and on crutches. We will get the best attention to him as soon as possible.”

Morris joined the Championship side last month from the Seattle Sounders and they are planning to sign the player permanently at the end of the season.
