Sporting director Schneider parts ways with Schalke
Schalke sports director Jochen Schneider will leave the Bundesliga strugglers at the end of the season.

Schalke 04announced on Tuesday that sporting director
Jochen Schneider
will leave at the end of the season.
"Jochen Schneider and FC Schalke 04 will go their separate ways in the summer,"
an official statement from the club read
.
"The supervisory board informed the Head of Sport and Communication today that his contract will be terminated on 30th June 2021."
Schneider joined Schalke in March 2019 and has been working as the head of sport at the club since then.
Schalke have struggled this season and are currently sitting bottom of the Bundesliga table after taking just nine points from 21 outings.
