Romagnoli ahead of Milan’s Derby: ‘Milan always want three points’

AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli knows the significance of Derby Della Madonnina.

Romagnoli

highlighted the importance of next week’s Serie A showdown between

Milan

and

Inter

in an interview with Sky Sport after Milan suffered a 2-0 defeat against

Spezia

.

“We made a mistake in the game, it was our fault and we take responsibility. Now we have to restart immediately from Thursday’s match.

“We are used to playing every 3-4 days, indeed the fact that there is Europe allows us to immediately think about the next match and forget this defeat.

“Then our goal is to reach the Champions League. I don’t think it’s a physical problem, we had a bad game and we weren’t focused.

“I don’t think it will be a problem for us to play in Europe. The derby is very important for us, but we always want three points.

“Now on Thursday we have a very tough game and then from Friday we will think about the derby” expressed Romagnoli after the Spezia game last night.

Inter have the chance to leapfrog Milan on top of the Serie A table this evening if they manage to beat Lazio at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
