Almiron expresses his satisfaction with playing in Newcastle

Although there have been words on Miguael Almiron moving out of his current club, the 26-year-old winger says that he is happy with his current club.

Miguel Almiron

expresses his satisfaction with

Newcastle United

even though he was assumed to be disappointed in his career life under

Steve Bruce

's supervision.

Daniel Campos, his agent, has talked about the possibility of the 26-year-old leaving the club.

Almiron then talked about the possibility of joining

River Plate

and said:

“My goal is to stay in Europe. If God allows me, it'll be in the Premier League which is very competitive, I know that I have to work hard. I always wanted to play at River Plate. It was one of my dreams but I don't know if that's possible. Going back to Cerro Porteno would be great.”

Although Newcastle invested £21 million on Almiron, the player has managed to score only 11 times in 77 appearances made for this club.

The winger then elaborated on a player's satisfaction and focused on the Premier League. He said:

“I'm very happy playing. I'm happy if I'm playing on Saturday or Wednesday. It's a sacrifice but above all, the footballer enjoys it and more if they're playing it in the Premier League."

Almiron stated the fact that a player must do "what the manager wants or asks for" and continued his speech about the League:

“The Premier League is a difficult league with great players and at the club, we're fighting to always do our best. I think being near the relegation zone is something temporary and we are going to move forward.”
