Benrahma joins West-Ham for a permanent deal making way for Lingard

The loanee switched to a permanent contract with Hammers as they hope to attract Lingard on a loan.

Said Benrahma

has become one of

West-Ham

’s permanent players after spending a while as one of their temporary men to make room for

Jesse Lingard

’s loan move to Hammers.

The Algerian agreed on a permanent contract with West-Ham, which will extend till 2026, after leaving

Brentford

for a total of £25million plus £5m add-ons.

With Benrahma’s new deal it would be easier for

Manchester United

’s midfielder, Jesse Lingard, to complete his loan-move to West-Ham for £1.5million loan fee and full-wage coverage till the end of the season.

Still Benrahma’s permanent contract would not mean that David Moyes would stop his search for a new striker as

Joshua King

nears an exit from the team.
