Joel Matiphad been unable to perform against Manchester United, Southampton, and Newcastle.
Joel has returned to the pitch having spent the recovery period, but
Jurgen Klopp
believes that the 29-year-old is ready to play against
Burnleyon Thursday and needs to take his time to get back to full fitness.
"Joel is in full training, and now we have to make a decision. We will see tomorrow."
Klopp said in the pre-match conference.
Diogo Jota, £41 million summer signing is also suffering from a knee issue:
"Diogo is still a few weeks away. He needs time,"
said Klopp.
The absence of the Matip left Klopp with the lack of appropriate options to shape the team and give it form.
The 53-year-old believes that the burden of scoring is something that the whole team must bear:
"Of course it's about the whole team, no doubt. The boys themselves know that goals are not flying in. We just have to work on it.
"[John] Stones, a week ago he scored his first goal for [Manchester] City, then the next game he scores twice!"
