Everton plan to pin down Robin Olsen with a permanent deal
According to some reports, the Premier League club are planning to reward the on-loan Roma keeper with a permanent stay.
Following the poor performance of
Everton’s goalkeeper,
Jordan Pickford, during the summer many questioned his position as the number one on Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. And after conceding 56 goals in 38 matches, Ancelotti was determined to sign a new stopper since Pickford was suffering from lack of determination and downward display.
On the final days of the transfer season Everton succeeded in signing
Romagoalkeeper,
Robin Olsen, on a loan and though he is known to be a slightly erroneous footballer, the Serie A keeper showed an impressive display in his first game against
Newcastle United.
As Pickford continued to receive criticism for his
Virgil van Dijktackle, Olsen kept on his good performance on the pitch and with the new transfer season approaching Everton may plan to sign the player with a permanent deal in January. In return Roma will also attempt to bring a new player after selling Olsen to the Toffees.
