Kumbulla insists Roma have no problems against big clubs

The Albania international denies any problem speculations against top clubs and sheds light on the reason behind his move to the Capital.

Roma

were crushed by

Atalanta

with a 4-1 result on Sunday and were unable to win over any top cubs in this season of

Serie A

.

We struggled, but we faced a very strong team,

” Marash Kumbulla said.

We must focus on the mistakes that we made, in order not to repeat them in the future,

" he added.

“We’ll prove we have no problems against big teams. We picked up draws against Milan and Juventus, showing we can be competitive against any opponent

.

Unfortunately, things did not go well in the second half against Atalanta, we’ll make up for it in the next games

.”

The Roma defender was transferred on a two-year loan from Hellas Verona, and the Giallorossi were facing competition with Inter in signing the 20-year-old.

Roma immediately showed me their strong interest. Then, I saw the fans, the coach and the club’s programs for the future. It all happened so quickly and I never had any doubt.”
