Manchester United's eyes on Real Madrid star

Lucas Vazquez's future, like many Real Madrid players, is uncertain.

His contract ends in this summer and he’s yet to strike a new deal, which means he’d be on the free transfer table this summer.

As it seems, Manchester United is intensely keen on signing him, with the English team agreeable to offer €15m to sign him in January.

Given the insecure situation of

Madrid

’s finance, the team may want to cash in on a player that could leave for free in six months.

Vazquez

joined Madrid in 2007 after being scouted in his native Galicia. He was in 100 games for Castilla before going to Espanyol to look for Primera football, playing so well that

Madrid

took him back after a sole season.

Since returning to the Spanish capital,

Vazquez

has featured in 218 games for

Madrid

, netting 24 goals and providing 47 assists.

Despite never being an automatic starter, he’s achieved two La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues.
