"I hope to do the next 200 in a shorter amount of time"-Milan captain

Alessio Romagnoli played his 200th game for the Rossoneri on Thursday.

Milan captain made 200 appearances for the club on Thursday and hopes to play for Milan for longer.

, 25, joined Milan from Roma in 2015 for € 25 million, and his current contract expires in 2022.

In Milan's 4-2 win over Celtic, Romagnoli came on in place of the injured Kjaer and celebrated his 200th appearance.

"I hope to do the next 200 in a shorter amount of time, with some extra European matches."

Romagnoli

also praised Stefano Pioli and defensive colleague Kjaer after the match against the Bhoys.

Pioli took over in a difficult situation,

" he said. "

[Former coach Marco] Giampaolo is a very good coach but it didn't go well

"Pioli has brought the team together and ideas that are working.

"Simon [Kjaer] is very strong. He arrived here on his toes and immediately imposed himself. He gave peace to the department and the whole team.

"There's great harmony and we immediately found each other. It was a more than successful acquisition."
