Walcott: 'I dedicate my goal all Southhampton fans.'

The striker scored in Monday's 1-1 draw against Wolves as Southampton strung out their unbeaten Premier League spell to seven games this season.

It was

Walcot

t's first goal for the club since January 2006, having returned on loan from

Everton

Pedro Neto replied to Walcott's opener, which came over 5,000 days after his last, as

The Saints

stayed fifth in the table.

He was asked, if there was anybody specifically he might want to devote his first goal back to, the 31-year-old told the Daily Echo:

“All the Southampton fans that showed so much support for me at such a young age and never really got to see me play in the Premier League.

“Now they can finally see me play in the

Premier League

in a Southampton shirt.

“That goal is for them.”
