Manchester City pays tribute to their former player Wisten
The former academy player of Manchester City passes away at the age of 18 leaving his family behind.
Wisten, who was once a member of the Blues team, dies at the age of 18 on Sunday. The Malawi born and UK raised defender passed away due to still unconfirmed causes this week. After the tragic death of this young player,
Manchester City’s squad including some former players of the team flooded social media with tributes paid to honor the player’s memory.
Among those who paid their respects to the deceased’s family were
Raheem Sterling, Aymeric Laporte,
Tommy Doyle, and
Cole Palmer. Tyrhys Dolan a former Man City academy player and a current Blackburn Rovers midfielder also set a motion to raise money for giving the player a proper farewell.
