The management of the

West Ham United

club has determined its position on the inaugural offer made by

Arsenal

to include its captain,

Declan Rice

.

According to English newspapers West Ham rejected Arsenal's offer at a time when

Manchester City

appeared as a competitor to include player Declan Rice.

Arsenal is the preferred option for the 24-year-old Rice this summer, despite the interest of a number of other well-known clubs.

The

Manchester United

and

Bayern Munich

, and Chelsea teams expressed their desire to include Rice, but this interest diminished after the player declared his preference to join Arsenal.

Bayern Munich ended their interest in Declan Rice on Tuesday, despite coach Thomas Tuchel's desire to make him a club record signing.

West Ham believes his player is worth £110 million, and co-chairman Daniel Sullivan hopes the bids for the England international will go up.

It is noteworthy that Rice received the green light from West Ham to leave this summer after leading the team to the European Conference League title.

English press reports revealed that Arsenal had ended its interest in signing

Moises Caicedo

 the

Brighton

player. The Gunners withdrew from the race to include Caicedo, 21, who is currently on Chelsea's radar.

Chelsea

was one of the most prominent clubs interested in including the Ecuadorean last season and is now close to losing its French player,

N'golo Kante

, who is close to moving to the ranks of the

Al-Ittihad

Saudi.
