Guardiola expresses his thoughts on Cancelo's recent lack of game time
The Portuguese defender left Manchester City on loan to Bayern to get some minutes of football but it seems he is destined to be benched
Cancelo joined Bayern on loan from Manchester City during the January transfer window but despite his great start, he has recently lost his place in the Bavarian side. Guardiola has stated that City will assess his situation at the end of the season.
"He's with Bayern Munich,"
Guardiola told reporters.

Bayern's sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, claimed that
Cancelowas benched for the Champions League match against PSG due to a lack of effort in training. Although Bayern have an option to buy Cancelo in their loan agreement with City, it is unlikely that they will be willing to pay the €70 million (£62m/$76m) asking price to sign him permanently.
Cancelo will be hoping to get some minutes in
Bayern Munich's next Bundesliga match against Augsburg on Sunday.
