Ancelotti reveals the gift ‘loveable’ Klopp gave him while he was at Everton
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti spoke of his admiration for Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp and the strange gift he received from him.
Ahead of
Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with
Liverpool, Carlo Ancelotti reveals that Jurgen Klopp gave him a vape while he was managing Everton.
The two managers have long confessed their admiration of each other and the way they play football.
Ancelotti hailed Klopp in an interview with Sky Sports Italia, saying:
"We have a good relationship, we spent a year and a half together here in Liverpool during the pandemic. We texted and he gave me gifts, it's true. He's a very lovable person."
When he was asked further about the nature of the gift, Ancelotti revealed that it was “an e-cigarette”.
The two managers are set for a repeat of the last seasons Champions League final on Tuesday night. This would be the two teams’ fifth meeting in the past five years.
