'They know what they can expect from me' – Mourinho says about his future at Roma

Ahead of their Europa League clash with Salzburg, Jose Mourinho has touched upon his future at the club.

With rumors of him leaving the club in the summer, Mourinho has said about

Roma

that 'They know what they can expect from me'.

Jose Mourinho is under contract until 2024 but has recently admitted that he turned down the chance of replacing Fernando Santos as Portugal’s head coach.

Roma now sits fourth and 2 points away from the second-placed Inter Milan in the Serie A. although Mourinho was heavily criticized as his team exited the Coppa Italia which he didn’t take too well.

"It's mid-February, do you think the club will talk to me in June? I guess it would be too late,"

he told Sky Sport Italia on the eve of Thursday's game.

"I don't expect anything, they know what they can expect from me. Nobody works more than me in Trigoria.

"I had the chance to leave, but I decided not to, and the story ended.

"Tomorrow's game is the most important. We want to win and we can't look beyond the next match. There are still 24 clubs in the competition, we are far from the end."
