Roma’s Zaniolo signs for Galatasaray
Nicolo Zaniolo finally gets his desired move out of Roma, linking up with other Serie A stars at Galatasaray.
Nicolo Zaniolo has joined the Turkish side,
Galatasarayin a deal worth €16.5 million as well as add-ons of up to €13m, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The 24-year-old clashed with Roma hierarchy to force a move in January but when a move to Bournemouth was rejected by him, Roma decided to hold on to him for now.
However, Turkish league and their late transfer day deadline came to
Zaniolo’s rescue as he links up with the likes of Mertens, Icardi and Torreira.
The Turkish window has been extended until February 18 in the wake of the tragic earthquakes that has been happening in the country.
Zaniolo will reportedly have a release clause in his contract for Serie A teams which will be in effect from the summer.
