Isco’s deal with Union Berlin falls through

After being close to signing for Bundesliga title-chasers, it is now being reported that the deal for the former Real Madrid midfielder has collapsed.

Isco’s move to Union Berlin has collapsed from the club’s side. The former Real Madrid midfielder, spent only four months at Sevilla recently before being released and now his move to Union Berlin is even blocked.

Union’s sporting director Oliver Ruhnert clarified the situation by a post in Twitter, which stated:

"We would have liked to see Isco play for us, but we have our limits.

"Today these were exceeded, despite our previous agreement, which is why the transfer will not take place."

’s management agency was also quoted by Bild to say:

"In the course of the talks, we had to realize that our negotiating partner was no longer willing to move within the framework originally discussed."

The Spanish midfielder who has played for the likes of Malaga, Real Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla is now without a club.
