Danny Ings agrees to join West Ham on a permanent deal

West Ham and Aston Villa have seemingly agreed on a deal that sees Danny Ings join the Hammers.

As per reports from Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United have agreed to a deal to bring in

Danny Ings

from Aston Villa.

With the

Hammers

down near the relegation zone, they have been trying to sign attacking reinforcements up front to bolster their chances of survival.

West Ham have had a couple of players in mind when it comes to signing attackers. Sevilla’s En-Nesyri is one while Lorient’s Terem Moffi is another but it seems that they have gone for someone with a bit more Premier League experience.

With only 8 starts in 18 appearances, Danny Ings has scored 6 goals for

Villa

this season. It is being reported that a deal worth £15m has been agreed between the two clubs for Ings’ transfer.

With only 5 goals between them, Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca have failed to deliver for West Ham up front. Now with the help of a proven goalscorer in Danny Ings, West Ham might have a better chance in the second part of the season and perhaps ease the immense pressure that David Moyes is under.
