A move to Inter Milan is ‘not a possibility’ for out-of-favor Depay
Memphis Depay’s lawyer has shot down the rumors of the Dutch forward joining Inter Milan in January
According to Depay’s lawyer,
Depaywill not be joining Inter Milan in the January window. Netherlands’ World Cup star will probably leave Nou Camp this winter and Inter have been reported as one of the parties interested.
While Depay has only made two start since the start of the season, his lawyer Sebastian Ledure has denied that there are any talks between
Barcaand Inter for Depay to join the Italian giant.
"There are no negotiations ongoing for Memphis to join Inter,"
he told Fabrizio Romano.
"I can deny all these links, it's not a possibility that we are discussing."
With Robert Lewandowski joining from Bayern Munich as well as the good form of the likes of Dembele and Raphinha, Memphis Depay has found it hard to figure in Xavi’s plans and has been used less and less as the season has dragged on. He was an unused sub in Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Real Madrid in the Supercopa final.
