Rafael Leao seems to be open to a Premier League move

Milan’s Portuguese winger doesn’t rule out a Premier League move in his future.

AC Milan has experienced a resurgence with the club managing to win their 19th scudetto title after a decade and one of the main reasons behind that resurgence has been their youngster winger

Rafael Leao

who scored 11 goals and provided 11 times as Milan won the coveted Serie A title.

Leao has backed up his performances from last season by scoring 7 and assisting 9 times this season as well as scoring two goals for Portugal in the World Cup which has raised his stocks significantly.

With the likes of Chelsea being long-time admirers of Leao, the 23-year-old winger was asked by RDP Africa about the possibility of a move to the Premier League, which he replied by saying:

"Yes, in the future. But now I'm 100 per cent focused on Milan. I'm at a top club and I'm under contract. I also like the city of Milan."

He continued by confessing his admiration for the way Arsenal has played so far, as he said:

"I've seen a lot of games this year. I like Arsenal, I think they play very well."

The former Lille and Sporting winger’s contract at

Milan

runs until the end of 2023-24 season which worries a lot of Milan fans as the Rossoneri look to tie him down to a long-term contract. The new contract that Milan are offering him is said to be around €7m in yearly wages which would make him one of the highest earners at the club.
