Juventus and Inter tracking Alejandro Grimaldo

Both Juventus and Inter will be keeping a careful eye on Alejandro Grimaldo in tonight's Champions League matchup. However, they will have to compete with Barcelona for his services.

The 27-year-old Spaniard graduated from

Barcelona

's development academy in January 2016, although he has since moved his career to Portugal. A €60 million buyout is included in his contract, but the current agreement is set to expire in June 2023, and there has been no indication of an extension.

Because of this, starting in January,

Alejandro Grimaldo

can start direct negotiations with other teams in preparation for a transfer over the summer when he will be a free agent.

Sky Sport Italia reports that

Juventus

and

Inter

are monitoring his condition and planning an offer. Juventus will face Inter in a direct Champions League match in Lisbon tonight.

With three assists and a goal through 18 games this season, Grimaldo has proven to be a valuable contributor as a left back in an attacking system. It has been said, however, that if he could choose any future destination, it would want to return to Barcelona, the city of his dreams.
