174 people killed after fans invaded pitch in Indonesia

Today, Indonesia witnessed one of the most disastrous events in the history of football.

In one of the most tragic days in football history, 174 people were killed in a football match between two teams in Indonesia.

The two teams Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya faced each other and Arema's defeat in this game caused strange events to happen after the end of this match.

The defeat of Arema FC led to the anger of the fans of this team and their attack on the field, where they were met with a severe attack by the security forces and beat them. Throwing tear gas at the spectators made matters worse, causing thousands to rush to exit the stadium.

Initial reports indicated that nearly 129 people were killed in the incident, but government officials announced shortly after that the death toll had increased to 174, and the condition of 11 spectators was also critical.

Now, the government and sports authorities of Indonesia have announced that all league matches in this country have been postponed until further notice, and no matches will be held until the investigation is done.

Some news sources have claimed that in addition to the rush of fans to leave the stadium, which has led to many deaths, there have also been clashes with the police outside the stadium. The published videos of this game show that many spectators are climbing the fences to save their lives, and many bodies can be seen on the ground.

This is considered one of the worst tragedies in the history of world football that has occurred in recent years, and it is expected that FIFA will react to this matter seriously.
