Chelsea began talks with Pochettino & Potter for Tuchel replacement
The Blues are in search for a new coach after Tuchel's dismissal.
Chelsea have opened talks with Graham Potter and Mauricio Pochettino to replace Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea are planning to ask Brighton for permission to start direct negotiations with their manager and the club is aware of Potter's contract termination clause. It is said that Brighton will allow Potter to negotiate with Chelsea and they do not intend to be on the way to negotiations.
Pochettino, on the other hand, does not have a contract with a club, and Chelsea can freely start negotiations with him. Pochettino, 50, was sacked by Paris Saint-Germain in July and has a history at Chelsea's city rivals Tottenham.
The 49-year-old Tuchel was fired from Chelsea after the defeat against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. He took charge of Chelsea in January 2021 and won the Champions League in his first season in this team.
