Inter striker at risk of missing Milan derby through injury

Injured Inter star Lukaku in doubt for Milan derby.

Sky Sport Italia

says that

Romelu Lukaku

will miss the next Serie A game against

Cremonese

and may not be able to play in the Milan derby next weekend because of an injury to his thigh.

Since coming back to Inter on loan from

Chelsea

, the Belgian player has scored one goal in three games. But he has already been forced to sit out because, according to Andrea Barzaghi, a Sky Sport Italia reporter, he hurt his thigh during today's training session at

Appiano Gentile

.

According to the report, Lukaku will see a doctor in the next few hours, but he is likely to miss Tuesday's Serie A game at San Siro against Cremonese. He might not be able to play against Milan in the

derby della Madonnina

on Saturday.

Lukaku's first time with the Nerazzurri was under Antonio Conte. During that time, he played 95 games and scored 64 goals. Inter has six points after their first three Serie A games, but they lost their last game 3-1 at Lazio. Gazzetta says that Lukaku will miss the derby and might not be able to play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on September 7.
