Early in the summer window, the Blaugrana directors indicated that there would be
€200m
available for transfers. Already splashing €148m to sign
Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Jules Kounde, they have plenty of money left as their hunt for two fullbacks continues.
The club is monitoring Marcos Alonso and
Javi Galanfor the left-back position while Thomas Meunier,
Juan Foyth, and Hector Bellerin remain their right-back targets.
However, the main struggle for Barca president
Joan Laportaremains registering the signings according to the La Liga salary limits as they rely heavily on the departure of Memphis Depay or
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyangto overcome the obstacle.
Although other new singings such as Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha,
Franck Kessie,and Andreas Christensen have made their debuts, the Blaugrana are yet to register Jules Kounde, who they signed for a reported €55mi fee from
Sevilla.

Xavi Hernandezremained optimistic to have the French centre-back available for their Sunday La Liga clash against
Real Valladolid.
