Loyalty to Napoli makes Mertens reject Juventus's offer
Leaving Napoli at the end of last season when his contract expired, Belgium forward is a free agent as he didn't agree to Napoli’s offered €2.4m per season offer, With Inter and Lazio in the chase, Mertens rejected Juventus's offer as he does not want to become a Napoli traitor.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mertens has turned down Juventus' €5m per season offer due to his loyalty to
Napoli. Juventus wanted to sign the Belgian as an alternative for their other target, Alvaro Morata, who they failed to reach an agreement with Atletico Madrid over a transfer.
