De Jong must take legal action against Barcelona - Neville

Reports claim that the Blaugrana ow Frenkie de Jong wages, which really sticks out considering he may make a potential move to the Red Devils.

. The

Manchester United

target has seen the Premier League side reach an agreement with the Catalans over a deal for the former

Ajax

player.

However, the Netherlands international is eager to stay at the La Liga side, while reports also claim that the club owe him €20million in wages.

That is after the 25-year-old deferred his wages to help the club in their financial struggles in the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, notwithstanding their financial problems, Barcelona have signed many players this summer, like Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha from Bayern Munich and Leeds United, respectively.

According to United great Neville, De Jong should think about taking legal action against the Catalans as they failed to pay him the wages, he deferred to help them.

He tweeted:

"De Jong should consider legal action v Barcelona and all players should be behind him!

"A club spending fortunes on new players whilst not paying the ones they have under contract their full money is immoral and a breach."
