Inter uncertain of keeping Skriniar as Chelsea lose Kounde

The Nerazzurri may not be certain of retaining Milan Skriniar’s services after reports of his deal extension needing a revision amid interest from PSG, while the Blues might also make an offer for him after they lost Jules Kounde to the Blaugrana.

Milan Skriniar

was on the market for a fee of €70-80m this summer, but

Paris Saint-Germain

were not able to meet that demand.

Since his replacement Gleison Bremer is headed to

Juventus

from Torino instead, that dampened any wish that Inter had to cash in on the defender.

His deal is set to reach its end in June 2023 and they had already reached an agreement over an extension at t €5m per season; however, the Ligue side’s interest and huge salary they were going to offer may push his agent to demand for a raise.

On the other hand, there might be domino effect being in progress as reports from Sport suggest that

Barcelona

have agreed terms with Sevilla’s Joules Kounde and may acquire hi on a €50m plus €10m add-ons deal.

He was about to make a move to Chelsea, so the Blues should look elsewhere and they may compete with PSG for Skriniar’s services.
