Milan considering a move for Miralem Pjanic
Milan weighing up move for Barcelona playmaker Miralem Pjanic
A report from
Calciomercato
that was picked up by Marca says that
Milanis considering making a move for
Barcelonamidfielder
Miralem Pjanic. The 32-year-old Bosnian midfielder won't get many chances to play at Camp Nou in 2022/23, so it makes sense for him to move.
Even though
Xavi Hernandez
has given him chances so far in preseason and put him in the starting lineup for their first friendly against Catalan team Olot, the club is likely to move him on because of his high salary. The most likely deal would be to rent the player for a season with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Pjanic will move to Barcelona in the summer of 2020 as part of a controversial trade with Juventus. In the other direction, Brazilian playmaker
Arthur Melo
will go. But since then, things have been hard for him at Camp Nou, so he spent last season on loan at Besiktas.
But that person is a good football player. And Pjanic is happy in Serie A because he has spent a lot of time there. The midfielder played for Rome for five years and then for Juventus for four years.
