Allegri: If De Ligt leaves Juve would find the best way to replace him

Bayern Munich wants to sign Matthijs de Ligt, and they have talked to Juventus about it. The Italians are now thinking about how they could replace him.

Massimiliano Allegri

, the head coach of

Juventus

, has said that if

Matthijs de Ligt

goes to

Bayern Munich

, the team will look for a top-notch replacement.

Gleison Bremer

, a center back for Torino, is one of the center backs who have been linked to Juventus recently. The Brazilian could be a good fit for the Bianconeri. This week, Bayern and Juventus talked, and it's more likely that De Ligt will join the Bundesliga champions before the new season starts.

Juventus has already made a big splash by signing Paul Pogba and

Angel Di Maria

during the offseason, and they are ready to do it again if De Ligt's three-year stay in Italy comes to an end.

The 22-year-old was bought from

Ajax

. Last season, the Dutchman played more minutes (2,675) than any Juve outfielder in Serie A as Allegri's team stumbled to a fourth-place finish.

"As you all know, Bayern Munich met with Juventus on Wednesday, but for now De Ligt is still a player for Juventus," Allegri said at a news conference. "He is in good shape. I take care of the people here, and De Ligt is also here. Then, you have until August 31 to make a move so that anything can happen.

"That said, I am very happy with what the club is doing and has done by bringing in two important players. If De Ligt leaves, our club would find the best way to replace him."

Juventus will play friendlies against C.D. Guadalajara, Barcelona, and Real Madrid in Las Vegas, Dallas, and Los Angeles on the upcoming Soccer Champions Tour in the United States.

It will be the first time France midfielder Pogba plays for Juventus since he left for Manchester United six years ago. Argentine playmaker Di Maria has moved to Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain after seven successful seasons in Ligue 1.

Allegri said, "The signings of Pogba and Di Maria are important from a technical standpoint. They raise our technical level a lot and take some of the pressure off of other players." "But mostly, they improve the skills of our team a lot. That's why I'm so glad they are now with us.

"Paul came in the right way, with the will and determination to get back to his usual level of play, which he didn't do in his last season at United. At Juventus, he's back home, and I think he can help us a lot because he's better than everyone else physically and technically."
