De Ligt prefers Bayern Munich over Chelsea

The Bundesliga movies are the favorite destination for the Juve defender, as they have reached personal terms, going past Chelsea and Manchester City.

Matthijs de Ligt

is keen on making a move away from

Juventus

after three years, not pleased with the back-to-back fourth place finishes in the

Serie A

.

His release clause is about €120m, which will keep him for another two years. Therefore, Juventus are demanding an offer close to that to release the almost 23-year-old.

Chelsea

were also interested in buying his services, but Bayern Munich seem to have become the new favorites to sign him.

As per reports from Calciomercato.com transfer pundit Daniele Longo, Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with the centre-back, offering him 10m per season net – €18m per season gross – plus bonuses.

The Bianconeri offer for him to sign an extension was lower than what he earns now (€8m per season net plus add-ons salary.)

According to

La Gazzetta dello Sport

, Hasan Salihamidzic, the Bayern director, is going to Turin today to negotiate in person with the club and the player.

Manchester United are also said to be interested in acquiring his services, but it sounds unlikely as they are not in the Champions League.

Lawyer Rafaela Pimenta, who got Mino Raiola’s transfer agency, told Juventus that the played would like to join Bayern Munich rather than Chelsea. However, the issue is that their bi is just €70m plus add-ons.
