Leeds United outbid Milan for Belgian defender De Ketelaere

The Belgian defender hopes to transfer to San Siro, but the agreement between the two clubs seems very difficult.

Reports from Italy suggest that

AC Milan

's bid for

Club Brugge

defender

Charles De Ketelaere

is €10 million less than Leeds United's.

The Rossoneri are planning to sign the 21-year-old defender in the summer transfer window. However, Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that their offer of 20 million plus add-ons is far less than Brugge's asking price, while De Ketelaere has an offer of 30 million euros plus bonuses from Leeds United . Reports suggest that De Ketelaere's preference is to move to the Rossoneri, but it remains to be seen whether the two clubs will come to an agreement.

Milan failed to sign Sven Botman from Newcastle and their other transfer target Renato Sanches is also close to joining Paris Saint-Germain. There are also rumors about the transfer of Nicolo Zaniolo, the defender of Rome, but it seems that he will move to Juventus if he leaves.

On Tuesday, the Rossoneri confirmed the free transfer of Divock Origi. The Belgian striker decided to move to San Siro after leaving Liverpool.
