Gnabry: Lewandowski and I won't leave Bayern Munich for money

With a year left on their contracts, the duo is rumored to be eyeing a summer leave.

Serge Gnbary

says that he and

Robert Lewandowski

's possible decisions to look for a new club aren't just about money, despite the fact that their contracts with

Bayern Munich

are coming to an end and their contracts are up.

The two could leave

Allianz Arena

a year before the end of their current contracts with the Bundesliga champions after turning down new offers to stay. Both players are now away on international duty, but Gnabry talked about his future at Bayern and the transfer saga that has involved both him and his teammate.

He said that his decision to look for a new team would depend on how the club treats him. "I think it's kind of sad how things go back and forth," Gnabry said at a Germany press conference when asked about the situation. "Because of this, I hope that a peace agreement will be reached.

"We don't just think about money all the time. There are a lot of other things that make you feel good. Both the club and the player should show their appreciation for each other." Gnabry's contract with Bayern also ends next season. In the spring, Real Madrid and Liverpool were interested in him as the club tried to convince him to stay.

But it looks like he could still leave this offseason, most likely to La Liga or the Premier League, where Lewandowski went last year. Gnabry started playing soccer in England for Arsenal and

West Bromwich Albion

.
