Real Madrid to award Militao a new deal

The Brazilian is prepared to pen a new contract with the Spanish champions following a remarkable season.

Real Madrid

are ready to reward

Eder Militao

following his impressive season with Los Blancos by offering him a new deal, as per reports from

Goal

.

The defender’s contract will run until the next three years. However, he earns lower than many of the main players in the team. He has appeared in 50 matches across all competitions for Real Madrid and helped seal the Champions League and

La Liga

titles. Therefore, Los Blancos want to upgrade his wage so that it will reflect his role at the club.

According to reports from Goal, Militao’s agent are going to meet with the club to negotiate the new deal.

Florentino Perez plans to not only raise his salary but also show how much confidence they have on the 24-year-old.

Moreover, his value will rise in the future as his team is also growing. The defender is delighted at Madrid and willing to pen a new contract.

The Brazilian made the move to the club from

Porto

in 2019. During his debut season, he featured in 15 games in La Liga and in his second season, he played in 14 matches. This season, however, he became a regular player.
